Key Technology Appoints Tim Reardon as Potato Industry Marketing Manager

February 19, 2008 – Key Technology announces the promotion of Tim Reardon to the new position of Potato Industry Marketing Manager. Reardon is responsible for planning and managing activities that enable potato processors worldwide to experience the greatest value in utilizing Key’s automated inspection, specialized conveying, product preparation systems, and world-class service.

“The potato processing industry is a very important strategic market to Key. With Tim in this new position, we’re fully focused on understanding the production challenges our potato processing customers face and helping them improve operations to optimize product quality, increase yields, and reduce costs,” noted John Boutsikaris, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Key. “Tim has the skills and experience to deliver tremendous value to our potato processing customers.”

Reardon has been with Key for more than ten years. Prior to this promotion, he was a Product Marketing Manager. Before joining Key, he was General Manager at Semitool, Inc. and prior to that, he was a Design Engineer for Caddex Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gonzaga University.

I am focusing on helping these customers utilize our technology to the fullest capability, extending the value of existing equipment and developing new equipment to produce products more efficiently,” noted Tim Reardon. “We’re creating a solutions-based approach, configuring individual products into cohesive systems that thoroughly address customers’ needs.”
