![]() For Immediate Release: Key Technology Appoints Bret Larreau as Processed Vegetable and Fruit Industry Marketing Manager
March 18, 2008 – Key Technology announces the promotion of Bret Larreau to the new position of Processed Vegetable and Fruit Industry Marketing Manager. Larreau is responsible for planning and managing activities that enable fruit and vegetable processors worldwide to experience the greatest value in utilizing Key’s automated inspection, specialized conveying, product preparation systems, and world-class service. “The processed vegetable and fruit industries are very important strategic markets to Key. With Bret in this new position, we’re fully focused on helping these customers produce products more efficiently by expanding the value of existing equipment and developing new equipment,” noted John Boutsikaris, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Key. “Bret is ideally suited to take the leading role in helping these customers utilize technology to the fullest capability.” Larreau has been with Key for five years and brings 20 plus years of automated food processing equipment experience to his new position. Prior to this promotion, he was the Product Marketing Manager responsible for Key’s optical sorters. Before joining Key, he was a Senior Project Manager for Integrated Packaging Systems and prior to that, he was Sales Support and Product Manager for DSI/Stein, part of FMC FoodTech. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from Washington State University. “Key got its start in the processed vegetable industry 60 years ago.
